For the last year or so, I have been focusing my inherently creative

nature on the making of what I would call 'playful abstractions'.

I say 'playful' because they are

created with no pre-thought. I usually start out standing in front

of my blank canvas until something

comes to mind. Once I've started,

one thing leads to another. If I don't like something, I'm not afraid to paint over my mistakes. I see no rules to painting. My goal is to arrive at something that I find pleasing to my senses and hopefully to yours as well.
